It Arrived ahead of schedule last Wednesday in plenty of time for my trip. I studied the manual which was easy to understand. I charged up the collar and it functioned perfectly. With a little practice training it was easy for me to operate and control my GSP. Incredible collar- !! We hunted cattail swamps almost exclusively and the majority of the time my pointer was unseen but we could always find him with a quick punch of the locator button or by changing modes remotely from the transmitter to stalk/point, or point only. My dog and the collar made the trip for the 5 of us. Over 200 points in 3 days on wild birds and on mostly public land, Nearly 100 of which were hidden and we wouldn't have know the dog was on point with out the collar squawking. The extra high tone really helped in some 25 mph winds too. My dog has never really had a creep problem and if he ever did it was my fault for calling him off point when I could not see or hear him. But with this collars help in never pulling him off a point, he became so solid that we could walk up to him and turn him completely around with out him moving a muscle. He held the Birds so tight that my 12 year old shot his first limit of (3) Rosters ever in his life in a one hour hunt on Saturday night. The dog pointed 9 birds- 6 roosters for him and held them for close shots. Thanks again for recommending the collar and for expediting the collar. Great Job!! You helped make a trip of life time for my two sons (9) and (12) - they both are already discussing when they buy their first pointer that they need to save up some extra money so they can call the collar clinic.
