The SMA is a direct connector for an external antenna – either a roof mount or folding yagi, and comes standard with an SMA to BNC adapter. Providing the best of both worlds, the Tracker Maxima allows for regular tracking in the field using only the receiver, and increased range and accuracy in challenging tracking conditions using the SMA to connect to the larger antenna.
